Warranty Conditions (Summary):

Versa Drives Private Limited (VDPL) guarantees to the purchaser that this product carries a warranty for three years, commencing from the date of purchase. An additional warranty of 2 years is offered as a consumer offer by VDPL for registering the product with us. The warranty excludes any additional warranty you may have received from sellers as a consumer offer. If any defect(s) due to faulty materials and/or workmanship occurs within the warranty period, VDPL will assist in repair services of the product, at its expense. If the purchaser shifts their residence to another town, the warranty will be valid from the nearest VDPL Authorised Service Center/personnel.

The warranty is not valid in the following cases:

  • If the filled warranty card is not provided at the time of service.
  • If the proof of purchase is not provided at the time of service.
  • Warranty is not applicable for the accessories/peripherals external to the equipment, including the supplied remote control.
  • If the product is not used according to the supplied user manual.
  • If the defects caused by improper or reckless use.
  • If any repair service is done by a person other than VDPL Authorised Service Center/personnel without the acknowledgment to do so by VDPL.
  • If any modification or alteration of any nature is made to the product.
  • If the serial number on the product has tampered.
  • If defects due to causes beyond control like lightning, abnormal voltage, Acts of God, or while in transit to a service center or the purchaser residence.

Warranty Terms and Conditions

If the purchaser shifts their residence to another town, the warranty will be valid at the nearest VDPL Authorised Service Center.

  • The liability of VDPL is limited to the maximum of repairing the faulty product only.
  • This warranty does not cover for the losses consequent in nature, including but not limited to such as loss of business, etc.
  • The warranty is not applicable for scratches and/or breakages of plastic parts and/or aesthetic parts.
  • The warranty is not applicable for the accessories/peripherals external to the equipment, including the supplied remote control.
  • The VDPL warranty does not cover product parts that are subject to wear or which can be considered as consumable parts by their nature or are made of plastic.
  • The repair service shall be carried out through a person who is permitted to handle the repair service and/or the VDPL Authorised Service Centres/personnel.
  • The warranty can be availed also as a “carry-in” repair service at the VDPL Authorised Service Centres’ premises.
  • The consumer is responsible to take care that the product is not damaged while transporting it to the service center.

  • The remaining period of warranty after a warranty claim remains in force only for the unexpired period of the warranty of the original product. Time taken for repair services and in transit whether under the Warranty or otherwise shall not be excluded from the warranty period.
  • VDPL and/or its authorized service center/personnel, reserve the right to retain worn out or defective part(s) or component(s) replaced during the repair carried out under the warranty service.
  • In the event of any unforeseen circumstance, and spares not being available, the company's prevailing depreciation rules will be binding on the purchaser to accept as a commercial solution in lieu of repairs.
  • VDPL will only arrange for repair service if the filled warranty card is provided with the purchase proof, for instance through the presentation of the original invoice or cash receipt, the day on which warranty service is claimed within the warranty period. The purchase invoice should carry the model name & serial number reference of the product being presented for warranty.
  • The VDPL warranty applies provided the product is handled properly for its intended use, following its operating instructions.
  • The product is not defective under this warranty in the case where modifications become necessary for the product to comply with local or national technical standards that apply in countries for which the product was not originally designed and/or manufactured. (Example: change of power supply to make a product brought from a different country to suit local power conditions, does not get covered under warranty).

The warranty is not applicable in any of the following cases,
